This is Going to be YOUR Year

Few things beat the rush and excitement of starting a New Year. And we don’t know about you, but this one feels extra significant — maybe because it’s the beginning of a new decade!

Whatever the reason, right about now you’re probably thinking, “How do I make 2020 my best year yet? How do I accomplish my goals, all while having an unforgettable time?”

Because let’s be honest, some years fly by and we’re left scratching our heads thinking … “What really happened?”

To make 2020 a stand-out year, and kick things off in action mode, try doing these three simple things:

  1. Pick one word to carry you through the year.

Think about one word that symbolizes what you want to experience in 2020. Is your goal to feel less stress? Maybe “CALM” is your word. Do you want to keep at your goals, no matter the obstacles? Perhaps your word is “RESILIENCE.”

Or, maybe one of these words speak more to you: FAITH, PEACE, EASE, LOVE, ABUNDANCE, ALLOW, HUMOR, FUN, HAPPINESS, SELF-LOVE, RELAX.

Write your word on a notecard and place it on your mirror, refrigerator or anywhere you’ll see it daily.

  1. Choose an affirmation that sets you on your intended path.

It’s easy to start feeling lost as the year drifts by. You might find yourself thinking, “What was my intention again? What did I want to accomplish?”

Pick an affirmation that puts you in the right mindset to go after those goals for 2020. Repeat it each morning and night (or whenever your mind starts to drift toward the negative) to help you stay focused.

It could be something like: 1. I am the architect of my own life. 2. I am loved, loving and I love with an open heart and a clear mind. 3. I am capable of doing great things. 4. My body is healthy, strong and resilient. 5. I am worthy and deserving of _________ (love, good health, money, happiness, peace, etc.).

  1. Make one wish to come true in the New Year.

Want to buy a new home, be in a happy and healthy relationship (with your current or a new beau!) or get your passion project up and running? Whatever your wish may be, write it down and look at it daily.

Keep your focus on your goals and believe in yourself. Good things are in store for you for 2020. 🙂

Cheers to your best year (and decade) yet!
XO

Make Time for Your Dreams

Make Time for Your Dreams

What’s one thing you could do that would make this year stand out from the rest and make you feel like you took a big leap in your life?

These days, many of us are so pressed for time that we give ourselves few moments to do what actually excites us. But even if your day feels impossibly stuffed, you can make time for what really matters.

Sounds nice, but how, you may be wondering? I’m so happy you asked!

You Are Enough, Right Now

You Are Enough, Right Now

Some days you may feel like you’re not good enough, or doing enough. You may wish you could snap your fingers and turn into a version of yourself you think you should be with a perfect job, spotless house, and exciting hobbies (or whatever your definition of an ideal life may be).

But here’s something you need to know … You are wonderful, just as you are. You are enough, right now.

7 Ways To Add More Happiness To Your Day

7 Ways To Add More Happiness To Your Day

Imagine rolling out of bed with a smile on your face, laughing throughout your day, and going to bed feeling calm and content?

While not every day will be sunshine and rainbows, there are so many things you can do to add more joy to each day.

Here are seven of my favorite ways:

A Less Stress Summer

A Less Stress Summer

Summer is synonymous with relaxation, but sometimes we find ourselves stressed out and not living our best, “feet in the sand, good book in hand,” season.

Worries happen to all of us. But, one of the easiest ways to feel more carefree is to take a moment to declutter your brain. Because here’s the deal: Our brain can only handle so many thoughts at once. Anything extra bouncing around distracts you from enjoying otherwise happy moments.

Here’s how:
