How often have you caught yourself saying things like:
If I get that promotion…
If we take that vacation…
If things go according to plan…
Too often, we live in a state of “if.” Though we don’t mean it to, all of this “if-iness” holds us back from experiencing what we actually, truly want.
What we say and think has a greater impact on our lives than many of us understand, and when it comes to something we want to be, do or have in life, we’re better off replacing the word if with when.
What’s one thing you want for your life right now? To write a book, vacation in Italy, buy your dream house?
Try saying to yourself, “If __(insert your desire)______.”
Now say to yourself, “When ____(insert your desire)_____.”
Feel the difference?
When you replace the word if with when you set things in motion for them to happen. You feel a surge of confidence and your brain and body begin feeling like it’s a done deal and just a matter of time.
Wayne Dyer said, “You’ll see it when you believe it.” And one of the easiest ways to begin believing is by replacing if in your vocabulary with when.
It’s not our job to know exactly how the things we want will manifest, but it is our job to keep thinking, speaking, and living as if they are.
Great things are coming your way. And you deserve them all!
With love,
