Did you set any goals or plans for realizing a life dream back in January… or July?
Chances are you’ve been chipping away at something important to you (whether it’s to organize your house, write that book you’ve always dreamed of, exercise more to feel your absolute best — whatever it may be).
But sometimes relaxing summer days (and much-deserved vacations!) can make you feel like you’ve gone off track or fallen behind. This can leave you questioning your goals, and even tempt you to abandon them completely.
Today, we want to remind you that we can’t always be going full steam ahead. Life has rest stops, delays and even detours – and as long as you keep your goals and dreams at the forefront of your mind you are in fact, moving forward. Even when it doesn’t feel like it.
Martin Luther King Jr. wisely said, “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.”
Whatever dream you have or goals for your life keep moving forward with belief in yourself. Take breaks when you need to recharge, but stay positive and in motion. Remember small steps lead to great gains and good things really do take time.
