All You Need is (Self) Love


We want to remind you of something important: The more you love yourself, the better life is!

Self-love isn’t all that complicated — it simply means being good to yourself. Treat yourself with as much love, patience, kindness, and respect as you do your best friends and loved ones. 

When you have self-love, you can take time outs during your day to pause and savor a glass of cool iced tea — because you deserve it — without being hard on yourself, or thinking you’re lazy, or telling yourself, there are so many other things I should be doing right now!

So go on and make a point to take a moment this weekend and practice a little self-love.

Just for fun — and because it feels good to acknowledge ourselves — take a minute right now to write down three things you’re proud of yourself for or that you’ve accomplished recently. Take it a step further and write down three things you genuinely love about yourself.

When our days whiz by without any reflection, we forget all the amazing things we do and accomplish (which is an awful lot!). And that’s a lot of self-love we’re missing out on and probably a lot of self-doubt that fills its place.

So this weekend, practice some serious self-love, and take time to acknowledge yourself. You owe it to Y-O-U.
