Confession time: Over the past year or so, our team has let certain self-care tasks fall by the wayside. Things like annual dermatologist appointments and physicals, teeth cleanings, and even fun stuff like pedicures. Can you relate?
It’s not surprising we pushed them to the backburner (hello, pandemic!), but now that things are starting to return to a more normal state, we’re realizing it’s time to play catch up.
If you’re in the same boat, join us in a quick Friday task:
Step 1: Make a list of all the appointments you’ve postponed on. Pap Smear, teeth cleaning, mole/skin check, mammogram — anything you can think of that needs doing.
Step 2: Add a couple just-for-fun items to your list too! A manicure, facial, massage, or even a coffee date with a friend.
Step 3: Take 10 or 20 minutes out of your day today to line up as many of these appointments as you can. It might feel a little overwhelming if you’ve got a big list, but once everything is scheduled you can breathe easy knowing you’re taking care of Y-O-U.
Your health is so important and we want to be sure that you’re making your well-being a top priority. You deserve to feel great, both inside and out. 🙂
